Ingredients and scientific background in detail
Two forms of collagen
The formula combines native and hydrolyzed forms to provide a broader range of functional properties.
Native atelocollagen (300 kDa)
- Form: Native type I atelocollagen with the triple-helix structure preserved and telopeptides removed. This form is characterized by high purity.
- Technology: It uses a specific modification of the molecular structure that is not commonly available in commercial preparations.
- Distinctive feature: It is among the exceptionally rare forms of collagen used in food supplements and is valued for its high purity and structural stability.
Why it is in Kolagin®: Native collagen at 300 kDa retains its natural triple-helix structure, making it an exceptional form in food supplements. Studies show that this intact form interacts specifically with the immune system and helps the body naturally regulate inflammatory processes. Its high purity and biological nature make it well accepted by the body. Regular use supports tissue regeneration and slows everyday wear. Customers receive premium care that addresses the cause of a problem, not only its effects. It is an option for those seeking uncompromising quality, visible anti-aging effects and long-term musculoskeletal comfort.
Research on native type I collagen
McKown et al. (2000) observed reduced immune reactivity to type I collagen in 20 patients with systemic sclerosis after oral administration. The study, which had no placebo, supports research into oral tolerance; it does not demonstrate the efficacy of KOLAGIN® PREMIUM.
Study of native type I collagen in knee osteoarthritis
A study of 58 patients with knee osteoarthritis found greater improvement in pain and knee function after three months of taking native type I collagen than with placebo. The study did not investigate the Kolagin® Premium product.
Hydrolyzed porcine type I collagen (3–5 kDa)
- Origin and purity: A pure, stable and reliable hydrolyzed form from porcine sources.
- Absorption: The low molecular weight of 3–5 kDa provides excellent solubility and high bioavailability.
- Characteristics: Its structure is very similar to human connective tissues, making it a natural choice for a comprehensive formula.
Why it is in Kolagin®: Hydrolyzed collagen is broken down into smaller bioactive peptides that rapidly enter the bloodstream and supply the skin and cartilage with amino acids. Research confirms that regular use significantly increases skin hydration, improves elasticity and visibly reduces fine wrinkles. In the musculoskeletal system, it stimulates cells to produce collagen and actively protects joints from wear. It is a choice for everyday beauty support from within and maintaining an active lifestyle. The body uses it immediately where it is most needed.

Key building blocks and cartilage support
Glucosamine hydrochloride and chondroitin sulfate
These substances are natural and essential components of human joint cartilage.
Why they are in Kolagin®: Glucosamine acts as a “starter”, stimulating cells to produce new collagen and renew cartilage from within. Chondroitin provides elasticity and resistance to pressure by helping retain the water needed for lubrication in joints. Supplementing this duo early actively slows the activity of tissue-damaging enzymes, improves range of motion and eases discomfort. Together with collagen, they form a protective shield against premature wear and stiffness.

Two forms of hyaluronic acid
- High molecular weight (0.8–1.5 MDa): Provides the required viscosity and cellular structure.
- Low molecular weight (0.1–0.4 MDa): Has different physical characteristics for effective incorporation into the formula and penetration into tissues. Combining the two forms contributes to a technologically balanced formula for long-term use.
Why it is in Kolagin®: Hyaluronic acid naturally attracts water and can bind up to a thousand times its own weight. In joints, it acts as a shock absorber and lubricant that protects cartilage. In skin, it fills the space between collagen fibres, providing volume, firmness and deep hydration. Together with collagen, it forms an effective combination for overall rejuvenation and restoring lost mobility.

Amino acid foundation
It contains added glycine, L-proline and lysine, key amino acids and primary building blocks for the formation of strong collagen fibres in the body.
Vitamins and minerals
- Vitamin C (for collagen formation): We use a laboratory-pure form of L-ascorbic acid for greater stability. Authorised claim: Vitamin C contributes to collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage and bones.
- Mineral support (zinc, copper, manganese): We use highly bioavailable chelated forms (bisglycinates) for zinc and copper. Manganese is provided as gluconate, an established, stable form that is gentle on digestion.
- Bamboo extract: A natural source of silicon (silicon dioxide), a mineral naturally found in connective tissues.
Why they are in Kolagin®: Collagen needs cofactors — key minerals and vitamin C — to function properly in the body. Science shows that these substances act as catalysts, ensuring that the body incorporates the supplied collagen into skin, hair and joints. They also act as antioxidants, protecting cells from premature ageing. This synergy multiplies the overall effect of the product and ensures that the body gets the most out of every serving.
