Composition of Kolagin® VEGAN:

Comprehensive 100% vegan nutrition for joints, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, skin, hair and nails.

Kolagin® VEGAN combines amino acids typical for collagen with fermented chondroitin of non-animal origin, glucosamine, two molecular sizes of hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and minerals. The formula does not contain animal collagen or other ingredients of animal origin. It is exceptional for its high bioavailability (supported by studies), as free amino acids do not need to be released by cleaving animal collagen protein before absorption. Compared to animal collagen, it also has a lower carbon footprint.

Vollagen® - plant-based alternative to hydrolyzed collagen

Vollagen® is a complex of amino acids of non-animal origin, formulated in a ratio corresponding to the amino acid profile of collagen. It represents a vegan alternative to hydrolyzed collagen peptides and is characterized by very good solubility.

The daily dose of Kolagin® VEGAN contains 1,000 mg of Vollagen®, which corresponds to the dose used in the manufacturer's study. Vollagen® is produced from corn starch without the use of genetically modified raw materials.

2. Key building blocks and cartilage support

Glucosamine and MyCondro® – Chondroitin Sulfate from Fermentation

Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate are substances naturally present in articular cartilage. In Kolagin® VEGAN, we use glucosamine of non-animal origin and MyCondro® – chondroitin sulfate produced by controlled fermentation without the use of animal tissues.

MyCondro® represents a pure and precisely defined vegan alternative to conventional chondroitin sulfate obtained from animal sources. Its properties and bioavailability have been evaluated in human pharmacokinetic and clinical studies.

The daily dose of Kolagin® VEGAN contains 400 mg of MyCondro®.

When incorporating the raw material MyCondro®, we relied on technical documentation and study results provided by the manufacturer Gnosis by Lesaffre.

Two forms of hyaluronic acid

High molecular weight (0.8–1.5 MDa): Ensures the necessary viscosity and cellular structure.

Low molecular weight (0.1–0.4 MDa): Has different physical characteristics for maximally effective incorporation into the formulation and penetration into tissues. The combination of both forms contributes to a technologically balanced composition for long-term use.

Amino acid base

Contains added Glycine, L-proline, and Lysine, which are absolutely key amino acids and primary building blocks for the formation of strong collagen fibers in the body.

3. Vitamins and minerals

Vitamin C (for collagen production): We use a laboratory-pure form of L-ascorbic acid for higher stability. Approved claim: Vitamin C contributes to collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage and bones.

Mineral support (Zinc, Copper, Manganese): We use highly bioavailable chelated forms (bisglycinate) for zinc and copper. Manganese is in the form of gluconate, which is proven, stable, and gentle on digestion.

Bamboo extract: Serves as a natural source of silicon (silicon dioxide), a mineral naturally occurring in connective tissues.

Why they are in Kolagin®: For collagen to function properly in the body, it needs cofactors – key minerals and vitamin C. Science proves that these substances act as catalysts, ensuring that the body truly incorporates the supplied collagen into the skin, hair, and joints.
